Dogs are welcome provided that they are put on a lead when requested. Walking boots ( or wellies in wet weather) are recommended but not compulsory. Walking poles may also be beneficial. Some routes include stiles.
If you are leaving your car at the village hall to complete the walk, please park it on the road outside rather than in the car park.
There is one WhatsApp group called Sibford Walking Group. If you would like to join the group, please get in touch to provide your mobile number. Please note that this is only intended to be used to communicate changes to the regular routine rather than become a chat site.
Parish Path Warden
Our local Parish Path Warden is Allan Smith. He has volunteered to keep an eye on the paths in our local area and report problems that Oxfordshire County Council may be able to help resolve. If you spot a problem such as overgrowth, a difficult stile, locked gate, collapsing footbridge, or path not made good after ploughing, contact Allan on 07447 423 043. Alternatively, you may report a problem yourself via the Oxfordshire CC website.
Oxfordshire County Council maintains the Definitive Map of public rights of way.
