1896, January 27, Monday
Rain all day. I did not go out.
Hyde stepped on lath and plaster over the maid’s bedroom and broke it through from the little loft. He did it quite accidentally I believe, but carelessly. I severely reproved him for stupidity in treading on it.
Joseph Sabin of Temple Mills called this evening and asked for the use of the School room on Friday in Easter week for a Cricket Club concert and dance. I said the school room would be lent on the usual terms. I wrote to Mr G. Hall asking him to return me the Loggin Allotment rent rolls which I lent him on November 18 last.
