Married Jane Lamb of Sibford Gower (daughter of John and Eliza Lamb) and John Henry Dunn, of Walton d’Erville?, Warwickshire, who comes from Shutford, and lived as groom in the family in which Jane lived as housemaid.
They both came to Church this morning and remained to Holy Communion with the Bridesmaid (his sister).
I gave the offertory to the Diocesan Spiritual Society in response to the Bishop’s letter.
Attended Choir practice this evening.
Went to London. Stayed with Dr Hole, at 7 Goldhurst Terrace W. South Hampstead.
Ethel, Maud and Neil met me near Swiss Cottage Station.
Hole is very anxious to get a Living, or some other suitable appointment, as his savings are dwindling away and he has a large family dependent on him.
