The Sibford Scene — Time for a change?

It is now over twenty years since I got involved with the Sibford Scene. I started printing out the Nature Notes to help out the editor Ray Henbrey, and then from March 1997 produced alternate issues for a couple of years until taking over as editor when Ray became ill. Since then I have put together every issue of the Sibford Scene.

I still believe the Sibford Scene is an important way of passing information around the villages and want to see it continue to be so in the future. I would, however, like to pass on the editorial responsibility as I seem to have less time available each time the contributions date rolls round. I would be very happy to discuss the role with anyone who would like to take it on. The job has got much easier as most items come by email and with desktop publishing, putting the Scene together is a lot simpler than sticking articles and adverts on with glue used to be. I’m sure there are many people better fitted than me to fulfil this role so please volunteer your services. My contact detail are on the back cover.
