The Elm – accident blackspot?

Earlier this week emergency services were called again to The Elm crossroads, near the bottlebank, to attend a vehicle collision. Several people have reported near misses at the same location. Sibford Ferris Parish Council discussed the matter at their meeting on 27th September and agreed to ask Oxfordshire Highways for improved signage and road markings.

It would help the Parish Council make their case if people who have witnessed accidents or near misses in the last few years would send details to the Parish Clerk Kirsty Buttle at sfpc@thesibfords.org.uk , including

• when the incident occurred
• what led up to the incident, eg on which roads were vehicles approaching the crossroads
• the consequences (if known) for the people involved
• your contact details.
