Sibfords History Society – Digging into the Vicar’s diaries
Why Florence? Where is Malacru? What is a Jarzy wheel? Whose story should we believe – the priest’s or the maidservant’s? Did Juno deserve her dreadful fate? These are just some of the questions that will be considered in Tim Huckvale’s talk about his ongoing project of transcribing the diaries of the Reverend Edward Stevens, Vicar of Sibford towards the end of the 19th century.
Because of social-distancing measures, attendance in the Village Hall is restricted to a maximum of 25 people. These places are now all fully taken up but you may still “attend” the meeting online via Zoom, using the instructions below.
