Sibford School Tours, Meeting, Supper & Concert

Sibford School, Sibford Ferris

175 years have passed since Sibford School welcomed its very first pupil, Lucy Endall, back in 1842. As it currently stands some 4,921 pupils have since passed through the doors of Sibford to benefit from an outstanding Quaker education … what tremendous outreach. To recognise this anniversary, the afternoon and evening of Friday October 13th will be an opportunity for the Sibford community, current and past, to share in celebration.

The day will include tours of the school as well as access to rarely seen archive material and school photographs. A special Music Meeting of reflection, open to all, will be held in the main school hall, followed by the chance to reminisce and meet with current pupils. The day will conclude with a concert of music covering the last 50 years.

Toby Spence, Head of Sibford School, would like to extend a warm welcome to members of the local community to join us for these celebrations.

  • Tours of the school will take place from 1.30pm onwards.
  • The Music Meeting will take place from 3.15pm ~ 4.15pm
  • At 5.30pm you are invited to join us for supper followed by the concert at 6.30pm.

If you wish to attend any or all these events please contact the school’s community development officer, Ali Bromhall, telephone 781 216.
