Horti meeting – Mount Stewart Garden

A large lawn in front of a house

Politics & Plants in Ireland

Tom is an art historian and gardener and he will tell the fascinating story of the magnificent Mount Stewart Garden. It is owned by the National Trust and is one of its most unique and unusual gardens. The climate allows for a huge diversity of experimentation and planting. The more formal areas have a strong Mediterranean feel while the wooded areas support a range of plants from all corners of the world.
