Text, letter

Old Mrs Bishop died during the night. They had not sent for me to see her. Once when I called I was not asked into the house. I left word and afterwards sent word that I would go to her at any time she wished, but I was never sent for.

Miss Dix and Mary Thame came to tea. L. Poulton called about my subscription for wild flower prizes to children at Flower Show. I promised 5/-. Kitty, Miss Sottick and I walked round “Pig & Whistle” and home by Pound Lane.
