Eli Webb of Sibford Ferris called and asked me whether he might succeed to John Reason’s allotment. The latter was unable to work on it any longer and wished to give it up. I said I would see John Reason and let Eli Webb know. I afterwards saw John Reason who said he was too feeble to do the work on it, and I therefore called on Eli Webb and told him he might have it at once.
