Thank you to everyone who came and took part in the many varied activities of our very first Sibford AppleFest!

It was a huge success and feedback was that it was very much enjoyed by everyone attending. We had the most wonderful entries into our Apple Pie and Apple Cake competitions. Visitors of all ages enjoyed seeing their very own apples juiced before their eyes by Richard and Derrek who were kind enough to bring their press from Hook Norton.

The tasty pulled pork baps, BBQ sausages and autumnal soup all proved very popular followed by award winning apple pie and cream for desert! The bar was very well supported and our younger visitors delighted in the inflatable castle and slide, face painting and necklaces. We were accompanied throughout the day by super local musicians and our resident artist Nigel Fletcher painted the scene as it happened. As always, tea and cake was very popular and a big thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes and took part in the draw!

The scarecrow trail proved a great success and the Morris Dancers provided a truly traditional British backdrop to the day!
