Were you living in Sibford in 1956? Did you know that the late Sir Chris Chataway came here with a a BBC team to film the first of a series ‘Away from it all’? Do you have any relatives who may have been interviewed by Sir Chris, and did you have anything to do with the production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at the Manor House?

On May 15th the Sibfords Society will be holding an exclusive showing of this rare film, found in the BBC archives This will be followed by a talk on his boyhood in Sibford by one of the Manor House actors. There will be a chance to view photographs and to chat about old times. We hope to see you and everyone who is interested in extremely local history there!
