There can be no doubt what is the main talking point in the Gower this month. We are going to lose our Post Office on June 30th when Mabel and Eric Payne go into well-earned retirement from that activity at least.

Since a purpose-built lock-up Post Office is unlikely to materialize by July, if ever, we shall be dependant on some other family’s willingness to make over a room and their time for this most important service. Scene will keep you posted with developments.
