May we at the Sibford Scene congratulate that ancient hostelry – the Wykham Arms – on the acquisition of a splendid new inn sign. It does brighten up the pub frontage, and is so much smarter than that old dowdy blue one; and that noble name – represented personally in the village as well – surely deserved something smarter.
