Diary of Rev Edward Stevens

1894, November 18, Sunday 

Collect for V S after Epiphany. Fine. Taught in boys’ school this morning. There were thirty present. Attended choir practice this evening. About 30 boys and girls were present. Mr Langley takes great pains with the choir. Miss S Dix and Louisa Thame were at the Vicarage to tea this afternoon. Jane (Edith) Keene, our maid said she was to leave if she was not allowed out every Sunday evening.
