1894, October 8, Monday 

I lay in bed nearly all day and got my back rubbed with liniment. School Reopened by Mr and Mrs Langley who returned to Sibford last night. Rosa took Clothing club money. School reopened.

1894, October 10, Wednesday

Rain all day. Mr Cluff called this afternoon to make arrangements for the marriage of his daughter, a schoolmistress, with Mr Thomas, a farmer of Brailes.
