1886, November 7, Sunday 

Taught in Boys’ School this morning ; but did not attend choir practice this evening owing to my troublesome cough.

1886, November 8, Monday

In School all the morning, teaching. Visited Widow Hancock; William Poulton; Thomas Green; Mr George Dix, but did not see him, as he was not up. I saw Miss Dix there. Visited Sally Barnes and William Payne.

1886, November 9, Tuesday

Very wet. Visited William Kay; C. Holder; Eliza Harris. Wrote will for her – disposing of £26 or £27 and her furniture etc – all she possessed among some nephews and nieces and Mrs Wilks (daughter of William Kay) who has nursed her, in equal shares. One of her nieces, Maria Walker, who is in service at Leamington, is appointed Executrix.

1886, November 12, Friday

Visited Jesse Green; Joshua Green; Widow Keene; Joseph Messenger; Widow Lamb; Widow Thomas Lamb; William Barnes (out); Thomas Wilks; Elizabeth Bond; John Coleman; Thomas Coleman; Mary Sabin; Harriet Sabin; William Gaydon; George Payne; Sylvia Sabin (out); Eliza Harris.
