Diary of Rev Edward Stevens

1886, January 2, Saturday

I did not go to see the child that was bitten yesterday as I think it would probably alarm the mother more than necessary or desirable. The father was at the Library Meeting last night.

1886, January 3, Sunday

Very foggy this morning and windy this afternoon, so that Rosa could not go to Church as she wished and intended.

Attended Choir practice this evening.

Zilpah Rymill, the mother of the child bitten on Friday, was at Church this afternoon.
