1881, December 9, Friday 

Harry returned to Oxford for his “Viva Voce” which is to come on tomorrow. Vere driving him with Bell and Rosa to Banbury.

Mr and Mrs Woolgrove and Mr and Mrs Turner my Churchwardens and their wives came by invitation to supper with the view of settling up the Church Accounts to Easter last. But Mr Woolgrove had not brought them with him – he had not finished his collection as he had been very busy over Mr Hithcox’s affairs.

1881, December 10, Saturday

Visited Widow W Keen and the Heath Allotments. Sam Woolgrove called and said that Thomas Coleman would be glad to have the allotment late in occupation of John Hathaway at Sibford Ferris.

Daisy Thame was elected to Royal St Ann’s Asylum yesterday.

Daisy Thame may have been niece to the Misses Dix. See 1878-11-24, 1879-02-25, 1881-11-12.
