Diary

1877, October 24th, Wednesday

Drove to Adderbury to meeting for selection of music for Choral Festival. There were present Mr and Mrs Gepp, Mrs and 2 Misses Norris, Mr and Mrs Wyatt of Broughton.

Mr Smith and Mr Cooper from Brailes came to luncheon and tea and accompanied me to Adderbury.

I attended at the schoolroom at 7 pm, driving from Adderbury through the rain to keep the appointment in accordance with my notice, but as no one came, though I waited a quarter of an hour, I returned home.

Visited school this morning, attendance better than last week.

£5.5 to Brailes church.
