Read prayers and preached at Little more Asylum, and took all the duty at Sandford. Dined with Dr Sankey in the evening.

Mr J W Johns, Arbor Hill, Slough, brought his son Wilfred, and old Eton boy to me to prepare for matriculation.

Drove to Littlemore Asylum, Read and prayed with sick patients. Rosa accompanied me. We took tea with Mr Sankey.

Rev F A and Mrs Wilson came this evening.

Drove Bell to Horspath.

Mr and Mrs Wingate came to dinner Drove to Sandford and Littlemore, accompanied by Mr Wingate. Drove Mrs Wingate home in evening.

C Gibson went to Sandford with me and read the lessons. I also took the duty at the Asylum, where Gibson and I dined at Dr Sankey’s invitation. Julius Sankey came to Bradmore Road this evening.

Drove Bell to Littlemore. Very wet. I read and prayed with patients. We took tea with Mr and Mrs Sankey.

Drove Rosa to Horspath to see Mr and Mrs Wingate. Mr Philip Pusey, lame as he is, walked to Horspath and back, though I offered to drive him.

Took full services at Littlemore and Sandford. Dined with Mr and Mrs Sankey. Rev F A and Mrs Wilson came to the “Limes” to supper.

Harry left for Rossall School. Rev W M Pope came this evening.

Drove Mrs Wilson to Sandford. Called on Julius Sankey in evening and got prescription for an itching place on the chest, a form of ψοριασις.

Called on Charles Gibson this afternoon. Rev F A and Mrs Wilson called this evening.

Mr and Mrs Wingate and Miss Flower came.

Drove to Littlemore, and visited patients in Asylum.

Did not take duty at the Asylum, as Mr Hill had returned.

Drove to Sandford. very wet: lighted fire and dried clothes in school-house. Sent balance of lessons for Girls’ 6th U.K.S. to Spottiswoode’s.

Drove Rosa to Horspath to bid Mr and Mrs Wingate goodbye. Miss Henderson came on visit.

Rosa returned to Ryde, accompanied by Miss Henderson.

de Trafford returned.

Drove to Sandford. Bell accompanied me.

Mr and Mrs H Sankey called this afternoon, also Herr de Schler and Mr Kitching junior from Sandford Mill.

Thanksgiving at Sandford for fine weather in answer to prayer.

Mr and Mrs F A Wilson came to supper.

Bell unwell. Μισκαρ δυω μγνοιν.

Mr Mackay called whilst I was out. Mr Johns accompanied me to Sandford.

Wrote to Mr J Martin in reply to his letter from Vienna respecting a pupil.

Drove to Horspath. Brought Mr Wingate in.

Rev F A and Mrs Wilson came this evening.

Mr and Mrs Lee at Sandford.

Drove Bell to Sandford. Diocesan Conference commenced.

Buried T Woods at Sandford.

Mr Lee gave me permission to take duty at Standlake next Sunday. Rev Mr Leonard one of my fellow chaplains called. Visited Rev F A Wilson this evening.
