Tourists from all over the world visit Pamplona in Northern Spain to see the San Firmin Festival which takes place annually from 7th to 15th July. Five-year-old fighting hulls rush murderously through the narrow streets. This is known as ‘the running of the bulls’.
In our lovely, quiet village of Sibford we also have a festival which takes place twice a day (weather permitting). This is known as ‘the walking of the cows’ under the personal supervision of Erico Paynio. Could it he that Sibford will become as large a tourist attraction as Pamplona?
Thank you Eric and all those like you for giving this wonderful ‘olde worlde’ charm. Keep up the good work.
