Best Kept Village competition

Sibford was unplaced in all the classes in which we were entered this year. The Judges’ comments included:

“…..overall, an attractive village spoilt by poor attention to detail, with many untidy muddles.”

If we are honest, this is probably a very fair comment and an attempt by everyone to clear up those “untidy muddles” will improve our village enormously.

Something to look forward to in November

THE SIBBERTS (your local amateur dramatic society, taking its name-from the Sibfords as they were known in 1675) invite you to support their first production on Friday and Saturday 12th and 15th November.

“A Lady Mislaid”, by Kenneth.Horne (of Round The Horn fame) is a light comedy starring local personalities.

Tickets will be available from members and local venues to be announced shortly.

Book early to_avoid disappointment.
