The Great Wall of China Trek

This is a fund raising challenge for Katharine House Hospice – a week in China, walking sections of the wall.

I worked at Katharine House for about 8 years and know it as a very special place. A colleague, Nic Rossiter, another Sibford resident is deputy sister there, and is also doing the challenge, organised by the hospice and ‘The Different Travel Company.’

All hospices depend on charitable donations in order to provide their expert end of life care.

Nic and I are planning to do some training walks together, along with Eva, another colleague from the hospice. In order to keep me motivated and to get into training for the steep terrain I have decided to aim for 2026 km in 2026.

We will be fund raising to make, I hope, a significant donation to the charity. If you’d like to support us in our endeavours we would be most grateful.
