CATS fund raising event 2025

Cotswold Arts Through Schools and I would like to thank all those who attended and volunteered on the event at the village hall on 28 November. Julie and I are most grateful to Matt Waring who spoke with Mark Pougatch about the amazing, difficult and dangerous work he does taking medical supplies and many other things which are sorely needed to eastern Ukraine every six weeks. We raised with doubling by The Big Give around £13,000. Before the talk we served complimentary drinks and attendees brought canapés. The canapés which remained were donated to Polly who feeds the homeless in Banbury and who has thanked us very much.

Should anyone have medical equipment such as crutches which the NHS doesn’t take back, out of date medicines, clothing and linen in good condition please get in touch with me and I will check with Matt whether they would be suitable for his next trips.
