Oxford Congestion Charge
As of Wednesday (29 Oct), if you drive through one of the congestion points in Oxford you will be charged £5 for the day.
As residents of Oxfordshire, Sibford villagers are entitled to a permit which allows them 25 days of free travel through all six charging points. If you have two cars, you can get a separate permit for each (ie 50 days in total), but only if the cars are registered to different people.
You can apply online here. You’ll be asked to upload scanned images of the vehicle V5C registration document, and of a utility or council tax bill or some other proof of address.
If you’re unable to apply online, you can apply by phone on 01865 519 800.

If you’re travelling to the JR, avoid the congestion charge by approaching via the northern bypass. Similarly for the Churchill – either take the most direct route via the JR or take London Road through Headington from the bypass.
