Gardens open for NGS

to
Ferris and Gower

Five gardens in the Sibfords will be open to raise funds for the National Gardens Scheme. Last year countrywide the NGS raised £3 million to distribute to the charities it supports. These include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Carers Trust, Parkinson’s UK, The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Perennial, MS Society and the National Autistic Society.

The five gardens are Buttslade House, Carter’s Yard and Stickleys House in Sibford Gower, Home Close and Home Farm in Sibford Ferris. They are all very different in size and planting.

Parking and toilets will be available at the Village Hall (Gower) and Sibford School (Ferris). Teas will be available in the Village Hall from 2pm to 6pm and there will be a plant stall at Carter’s Yard.

Combined admission is £7, children go free.
