Received notice from Department of Art, South Kensington, of names of boys who passed as an “outsider” in drawing at the Friends’ School in May last. Also receipt for Harry’s Policy from “Clergy Mutual.”
Funeral of late Mrs Routh. First part to the end of Lesson with a hymn and then “Nunc Dimittus” in Church which was full of people. The committal was at the Quakers’ Cemetery. Richard Lamb made an oration and was followed by Wilkes Brown, of the Cake-shop, Parson’s Street, Banbury. Almost all the village was there, also Garrard from Brailes and Burlinghame from Evesham.
