Visited the new Law Courts in the Strand. Met Mr. Ashton Cross there. Attended Maskelyne & Cook’s Entertainment at Egyptian Hall, and saw the comedy of Much Ado About Nothing at the Lyceum when Mr. Irving played Benedick and Miss Terry Beatrice. Dined at Hotel.
