Our Midsummer walk, led by Arnold and Ina Lamb, took place on a beautiful sunny afternoon. We walked from Grounds Farm to Swalcliffe Common, seeing the site of old ponds and some enormous, rare Roman snails on the way. Arnold explained the workings of the pump, which has provided spring water for the farm, without fail, for over 100 years. Many thanks to Ina and Arnold for such a delightful afternoon in such lovely surroundings.

On the 20 August we have a trip around the Hook Norton Brewery at 10.00 am. Please arrive a little early, so we can park cars, etc.
