No doubt most villagers will be aware that six ducks have been purchased by the Council and launched upon the pond. The Council’s thanks must go to Mr. Woodall for kindly providing a shelter and to Mr. Payne for all the care and attention that he has lavished upon them.

Some time ago a number of villagers expressed their willingness to contribute (financial) towards their purchase. So if anyone wishes to make such a contribution please contact Mr. Payne.
