The Fielding Day Centre was started over twenty years ago in the Fielding House of the Friends School in Sibford Ferris. In the early days it was run by senior pupils of Sibford School with meals being provided by the catering department. It was so successful that local village volunteers were called in to help with the organisation. For some time now, ‘Fielding’ as it has become affectionately known, has run as a regular weekly Lunch Club meeting in the small village hall each Wednesday at 12.30pm with Sibford School still providing the food. We welcome senior citizens who would like to meet other like-minded villagers for a friendly catch up on local news and gossip along with an excellent two-course hot meal with coffee or tea. New member are always welcome.
