As you know by now, the Post Office at the Ferris has almost reverted to its original site. It is certainly back in Green’s Shop, and we have lost Mr and Mrs Pogmore who have served us faithfully for over five years.

I have always marvelled at their grit, determination, devotion, call it what you will, at their backwarding and forwarding to Brailes, often four times a day, in all weathers, and keeping cheerful, helpful and polite at all times.

They will be much missed, but we hope they will take pleasant memories of the Sibfords with them, as they have our thanks and best wishes for the future.
