Notes:

  • The “up to” figure is a measure of the maximum height of the ISS in the sky, between 0° (the horizon) and 90° (directly overhead).
  • The weather forecast may change as the day progresses, so visit this page again to get the latest cloud cover information. It is updated hourly.
  • The ISS is visible because it is reflecting sunlight. It is typically brighter than any star and moves quite rapidly across the sky, so is only visible for a few minutes. More information.
  • We only report times of evening passes, but it may also be visible after midnight. We don’t report times when it passes over invisibly, such as during daylight hours or when it is in Earth’s shadow.
  • Our ISS orbit information is provided by Celestrak.
