The Town Estate Charity and Sibford Gower Parish Council, who are jointly responsible for the management of the Millennium Field, have agreed that part of the open space towards the top of the field should be closely mown as a picnic area for villagers to enjoy while admiring the views and trees. The field, accessible from Acre Ditch and Temple Mill Road, was purchased by the Town Estate Charity a few years ago, for the benefit of villagers who are encouraged to make use of the current mix of open space and woodland which the Charity and Parish Council are committed to maintain.
